We are working with an international Private Bank in Basel that is looking for a Senior Internal Audit Manager to manage processing at a group level. This position reports into the Group Head of Auditing and involves travel 40-50 days per year.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Work independently to complete end to end audits at a group level, liaising with international branches and various teams within the bank, working especially close with the risk and compliance department.
• Asses existing process and constantly work to improve internal frameworks and methodologies.
• Act as a partner for the business, providing reports and statements for the Board and C-Suite management.
• International travel across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and LatAm up to fifty days per year.
• Position reports into the Group Head of Auditing

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Internal auditing experience within a Private Bank or Wealth Manager, alternatively you have external auditing experience within the finance industry.
• Ability to work independently
• CIA, CPA or CFA qualified is advantageous
• Fluent in English, can read/understand German.
• Willing to work five days a week in Basel. Ability to work in Switzerland.
