We are working with a Private Bank in Switzerland who are looking for a Head of Mortgages (commercial and residential).

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Manage a team of Mortgage advisors who cover both commercial, residential complex and international mortgage deals.
• Work alongside the Head of Credit to support their function and devise a strategy for the Bank, constantly striving to improve the department and compete with rival banks.
• Liaise with other credit departments and support the client advisors in their deals. Be the go-to person for the mortgage division and be an expert in your position.
• Ensure the structing of deals and the transactions are completed effectively and in a timely manner, working in a faced pasted environment and with a senior team.
• Role reports into the Head of Credit.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Experience working in the mortgage team of a Private Bank or Wealth Manager, preferably with international experience in commercial mortgages.
• A hands-on leader with the ability to lead and motivate a team of advisors and offer expert knowledge to various departments of the business when required.
• Ensure your team is up to date with current market trends and is offering good and relevant advice to both clients and colleagues.
• CFA or any other banking qualification is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and/or French or German. Any other languages are a plus.
