Redstone Private Banking Search are leaders in the global provision of search solutions for the international private banking and wealth management markets. With coverage of a wide variety of Private Banks, Boutiques, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Fund Managers and Investment Houses, Redstone Private Banking can offer tailored search solutions in a changing industry.
We are working with a boutique multi-family office serving U/HNW clients and institutional investors through DPM, financial planning, private banking and consultancy in legal, risk and family office or business topics. This group are looking for an ambition and high energy CIO to lead the investment committee and to be an integral part of a smaller but equally ambitious and fast growing business.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead Investment Committee on managing and implementation of strategies / trades.
- Strategic leadership and insight across all aspects of the investment lifecycle with fundamental strengths in terms of global macroeconomics and market drivers across asset classes.
- Take ownership of business function, including budgets, hiring, procurement, productivity/capacity management, risk management, regulatory returns and compliance and day to day ownership
- Keep up with market trends and macro-economic trends to offer insightful investment solutions and provide clients with up-to-date and innovative portfolio solutions and ideas.
- Role reports into the Managing Partner.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Take ownership of business function, including budgets, hiring, procurement, productivity/capacity management, risk management, regulatory returns and compliance and day to day ownership
- Have clear leadership, drive and organisation skills, along with excellent communication skills in respect of internal stakeholders and clients, plus the wider market such as custodians, banks, asset managers, data vendors e.g. Bloomberg etc.
- A proven track record of success within and investment advisory position with a quantitative mindset and with hands-on skills and experience on the day to day trading and management of client portfolios, via a specialised portfolio management software application
- Your have the CFA Qualification and are Fluent in English, another other language is a benefit.
- Hybrid position between working from home and in the office in Bishops stortford.
