Redstone Search Group (“we” and “us”) is committed to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to implement data-protection principles in an effective manner and to integrate the necessary safeguards into the processing in order to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. This Privacy Policy governs and explains our handling and processing of all personal information provided by you or that is collected from you. You are asked to please read it carefully.

Information that we collect, store and process may include personal data (such as your full name, contact details, date of birth, sex and marital status) and also sensitive personal data attained from either your CV or that you provide to us in interviews or over the telephone (such as your education history, employment history, skills and qualifications, personal interests, references, a copy of your passport, ethnicity, visa or work permit information, any record of criminal activity and career and remuneration requirements).

Your information is used to enable us to provide recruitment services to you in one or more of following ways: assess your suitability for vacancies; send your details to clients in order to apply for a job vacancy or assess your eligibility for a job vacancy (unless we have taken your prior consent we will not provide information which includes your contact details or that could identify you as an individual.

However you acknowledge that due to the nature of the market that we work in, information which may not specifically identify you may still be enough for a third party to realize your identity); keep you informed about job vacancies we think may be of interest to you; enable us to send you general market information about the industry sectors which we feel may interest you; ask you for recommendations, keep you informed about goods and services offered by us or our affiliated companies; carry out administration functions (in some cases we may be required to share your information with third parties who perform these functions on our behalf).

It is our understanding at the time of writing, that these functions fall under the Legitimate Interest function of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Although we do not anticipate needing to do so, on some occasions we may transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Economic Area for processing and storing. It may be processed by employees operating outside the European Economic Area who work for us or one of our suppliers. We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that your data is treated securely and in agreement with this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to disclose and transfer your personal information to any member of our group including subsidiaries, our holding company and its other subsidiaries or to a third party in the event that Redstone Commodity Search undergoes a sale, merger or the liquidation of our company providing the receiving party agrees to adhere to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You will be notified if any such transfer is due to take place and be given the opportunity to opt-out.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is maintained and kept up to date. Please do keep us informed of any changes to your information and we will update or delete your information accordingly. GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 gives you the right to access the information that we hold about you. Please note that any demand for access to information may be subject to an administrative fee.

Redstone Search Group Ltd is committed to full compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. and maintains has policies in place covering the following: A Data Breach Policy, A Data Privacy Impact Assessment, A Data Request Form, A Privacy by Design policy and we ask that recipients of our emails/communications are aware of and abide by their duties under the relevant data laws.
